This scholarship is for high school seniors and college students who are studying the arts. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must either live in Wicomico County, Maryland, or be from Wicomico County and attending school elsewhere. Applicants must be full-time college students (minimum 12 hours/semester) who are pursuing a major or minor in visual, performing, playwriting, media, or communication arts. This scholarship is awarded based on artistic merit and potential, not financial need. Applicants will be required to submit a portfolio of their written or visual arts work or perform a musical, dramatic, or dance piece as part of the application process.
