Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for Hispanic students in Berks County, Pennsylvania, who are pursuing an undergraduate degree. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be under the age of 24 and have an ethnic background which originates in Mexico, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Central America or South America. They must also exhibit a strong commitment to academic achievement or demonstrate a special talent in the humanities or a vocational trade, and be actively involved in school and/or community activities. Scholarship recipients must enroll full-time at an accredited institution in the United States. Reading Area Community College, Alvernia College, Albright College and Penn State Berks-Lehigh Valley College might match scholarships given from this fund for students who attend those schools.
