This scholarship is for students who have resided in Harrison, Gregg, Marion, Panola or Upshur counties in Texas for 24 months. Residence is determined as of September 1 of the school year. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be attending non-tax-supported college or universities in Texas or CentenaryCollege in Shreveport, Louisiana. Applicants must be full-time students and demonstrate financial need. First-year recipients must have at least a "C" grade average on high school courses and must maintain at least a 2.0 GPA in college or continued eligibility. Applicants must be US citizens.
