Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be graduating high school seniors or currently enrolled college students who are enrolled in the fall 2013 semester at a two- or four-year accredited college or university that is located in the United States and is listed on the official website of the US Department of Education. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must submit an 200- to 400-word essay on the subject, "If you were an insect, what insect would you be and why?"
