This scholarship is for women pursuing study in information security. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must pursue a course of study and/or have declared a major with an information science (IA) concentration in one of the scientific, technical, or managerial disciplines related to computer and network security. Applicants must be enrolled at a regionally accredited non-profit college or university (or equivalent for non-US applicants). Students seeking a two-year Associate's Degree and part-time students seeking their degree at night also qualify. Applicants must have at least a 3.2 GPA and must have completed at least the first year of an undergraduate degree program by August of the calendar year in which funding will commence and be academically eligible to continue at their educational institution in pursuit of their degree.
