Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for African American college juniors, seniors, and graduate students who are planning to complete their final year of education needed to sit for the CPA Exam in Illinois within three years of the application date. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be enrolled in an Illinois college or university, have a 3.0 GPA, demonstrate progress in a course of study in accounting, permanently reside in Illinois, and be US citizens or permanent residents. The scholarship covers the costs of tuition and fees and can include up to $500 in expenses for books and required classroom materials. The scholarship does not cover costs of CPA Exam review courses. Students who receive a full-tuition waiver or reimbursement for tuition are not eligible for this scholarship.
