Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for students who are committed to and qualified for entering or continuing the academic pursuit of a career in nursing. Some units toward a nursing degree are preferred, but not required. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be residents of or attending school in the Greater Los Angeles area in California, including portions of Ventura and Orange counties. Scholarships are awarded based on the ability to articulate a clear statement of goals, the likelihood of goal attainment, personal courage, personal commitment, and financial need. Applicants may apply for only two scholarships per cycle.
