Scholarship Overview

This competition is for undergraduate and graduate industrial design students enrolled in a degree program at any university in North America or other countries. To enter, students must design an innovative housewares product that combines function and flair. Projects must meet a current consumer need or be a concept for a future product. The following product types are eligible: small electric appliances; personal care and home healthcare products; tableware, serving products, and accessories; cook and bakeware; kitchenware; cleaning products; outdoor products and home maintenance; organization and storage; furniture; decorative accessories; juvenile and pet products; and electronic products that enhance home activities. Winners will appear in the Hall of Global Innovation display at the 2013 International Home and Housewares Show in Chicago.
