This writing contest is for students in grades 9 through 12 in Washington State, who have been touched by cancer either through a personal diagnosis or that of a family member or friend. To enter this contest, applicants must submit an essay between 500 and 2000 words about their experience. Essays must be typed or computer-generated and double spaced.
