Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors and current college students who are members of the Los Angeles Federal Credit Union (LAFCU). Potential applicants who are under age 18 and want to join LAFCU should ask their parent/guardian to call and ask to open their membership before filling out and submitting an application. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and attend a college, university, or trade school in Fall 2013. Selection will be based on extracurricular activities, community service, and an essay on "the many advantages inherent in credit union membership." Students who are LAFCU employees or family members of employees are not eligible.
