Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for African American students who live in South Florida, which includes the counties of Broward, Miami-Dade, Collier, Charlotte, Desoto, Glades, Hardee, Hendry, Highlands, Indian River, Lee, Okeechobee, Palm Beach, Manatee, Martin, Monroe, St. Lucie, and Sarasota. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be enrolled in a graduate-level business degree program at a Florida university during the fall, winter, spring, or summer term of the 2011-2012 school year. Applicants must be US citizens who plan to pursue a professional career in South Florida. Applicants must also have completed at least 12 semester credit hours in their graduate business degree program and have a 3.3 GPA. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.
