Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for students enrolled in two- or four-year college degree programs at accredited institutions, graduate education assistance for continuing studies, and secondary education programs at accredited vocational, technical or arts schools. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a demonstrated interest or connection to the guiding principles of Jane Doe No More Incorporated, an organization committed to improving the way society responds to victims of sexual assault through education, advocacy, outreach, and support. Applicants must have a minimum 2.75 GPA. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must submit an essay detailing work experience, volunteer experiences, educational programs, clubs, or organizations they have been a part of that connect them to the mission of Jane Doe No More. Appropriate connections may include, but are not limited to: coursework in criminal justice, women's studies, law, victim's rights, social services, counseling; work or volunteer experience in law enforcement, legal aid, victim's advocacy groups, women's centers or shelters; active involvement with campus or community support groups, advocacy initiatives, or personal safety programs.
