Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for students in grades 4 through 12 who are attending an Eastern Shore school. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be recommended by a guidance counselor or teacher based on citizenship qualities, work ethic, and service to the community. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must write a 250-word essay on the lessons learned from reading Back to Basics by Johnny Janosik or Gifted Hands by Dr. Ben Carson. Scholarships will be awarded once the student is accepted to an accredited university. Students can apply over multiple years until they graduate from high school.
