Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for women who are graduating from a state-chartered county school located in Hancock County, Ohio. Applicants must be enrolled in or accepted for admission as a full-time student at an educational institution that normally maintains a regular faculty and curriculum and normally has a regular organized body of students in attendance in the place where its educational activities are carried on. The institution may include a college, or university. The institution must be outside of Hancock County. Applicants must have a 3.2 GPA, demonstrate financial need, and be US citizens. Applicants who demonstrates a strong desire to change life circumstances, to set goals, and to take risk to attain those goals should be given priority. This scholarship is dedicated to the well-rounded student who has demonstrated hard work, good citizenship, dependability, and character. Student achievement, merit, and accomplishments are to be considered primary factors in the selection process. Applicants receiving full scholarship support from other organizations or institutions will not be considered for this scholarship.
