This scholarship is for graduating seniors from a high school in Otsego County, Michigan, who plan to continue their education at a college or university and participate on an athletic team there. Preference will be given to applicants who have experienced financial, physical, or mental adversity, for whom it would be more difficult to pursue future athletic goals, than under normal circumstances.
