This scholarship is for participants in an AIPT program who have an offer of training/work contract from an employer in the hospitality industry for a position outside the United States. The award supports program-related expenses, including international travel, relocation costs, and applicable fees. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a college degree (bachelor's or associate's) from a hospitality school or program or must have had at least two years of employment in the hospitality industry. Applicants must be US citizens, hold valid passports, and be at least 18 years of age. Proficiency in the language of the host country is strongly preferred. Applications for this scholarship are accepted year-round; recipients are selected each year on a first-come, first-served basis.
