Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for graduating seniors from Decatur Community High School in Oberlin, Kansas. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be accepted for admission at an accredited post-secondary institution to major in nursing or another health-related field. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and demonstrate respect for the students and citizens of the school and community, respect for both public and private property, leadership through active participation in school and community activities, reverence and concern for life, and a desire to achieve excellence by good school attendance. Applicants must submit three letters of recommendation from a member of the clergy, an educator, and a person of choice.
