Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for teachers in Kalamazoo County, Michigan, who are pursuing a master's degree in education. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be employed classroom teachers who live in Kalamazoo County or classroom teachers who are employed by a public, private, or charter school within Kalamazoo County. Applicants must enroll full-or part-time in a master's degree program in education at a regionally accredited institution and be US citizens/permanent resident aliens. If the number of graduate credits earned is less than nine, applicants must have a 3.0 GPA as an undergraduate; if the number of graduate credits earned is more than nine, applicants must have a 3.5 GPA as a graduate student. Financial need may be considered, but is not a requirement.
