This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors in the Community Foundation service area who lost a mother or father, either biological or adoptive. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be planning to enroll as full-time college students. Financial need will be the major criteria for the scholarship (75%). Additional criteria include merit which will be evaluated by school activities, community and personal activities, and work experience (25%).
