Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors who are dependent children of active/payroll personnel of the Winston-Salem Police Department or Forsyth Municipal ABC Law Enforcement. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be residents of Forsyth County, North Carolina, have a minimum 2.0 GPA, and be pursuing a full-time undergraduate degree from an accredited postsecondary institution. Three awards will be based on demonstrated financial need and three awards will be based on merit, which will be defined as the highest comparative GPA through the first semester senior year. Ideally, recipients will be chosen from the following areas: two from sworn personnel, two from civilian personnel, two from the community at large (from the Foundation’s pool of students).
