Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for children and spouses of full-time employees of The Lee Company in Westbrook, Connecticut. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be currently enrolled or have applied for admission to a degree program at an accredited college or university in a curriculum leading to bachelor's or associate's degree. Children are defined as natural, step, or adopted and no more than 26 years of age at the time of application. A full-time employee is one who has been working for The Lee Company for at least three years prior to the date of application and has worked a minimum of 1000 hours during the preceding twelve months. This scholarship will awarded on the basis of academic record, potential to succeed, leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, statement of education and career goals, and letters of recommendation.
