Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for seniors who are graduating or current undergraduates who graduated from a state-chartered high school located in Hancock County, Ohio. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must plan to enroll full-time in undergraduate or graduate studies and pursue a degree in speech, occupational or physical therapy, or special education, with the goal of working with children. Pursuing a career with special needs children is not a requirement, but those applicants may receive priority. Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA, demonstrate financial need, and be US citizens. Applicants who demonstrate dedication, reliability, initiative, honesty, sincerity, compassion, maturity, community spirit, and other such qualities will have priority. Students who receive full tuition scholarship support from other organizations or institutions will not be considered for this scholarship.
