Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for children of deceased members of IBEW Local 8 in Toledo, Ohio; OR for disabled members of Local 8 or children of disabled members that are participates in the organization's health and welfare program. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be 26 years of age or younger. Applicants who were in the military may be 30 years of age or younger. Applicants must be high school graduates, possess a GED, or be eligible for graduation in the year in which the scholarship is awarded; achieved a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA by the end of their last semester of instruction (at the high school or college level); and plan to pursue full- or part-time undergraduate study at a two or four-year college/university or study the skilled trades working toward certification or degree.
