Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for Protestant high school seniors who have attended two academic years in and graduated from a high school in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania or have been homeschooled in Allegheny County for two academic years including the senior year. Next preference will be given to students who demonstrate they are residents of Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Washington or Westmoreland counties. Applicants must plan to enroll or be already enrolled in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited educational institution and pursue a bachelor's degree. Students who have already achieved a BS/BA degree are not eligible. Merit applicants must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0; need applications must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.8. Certain restrictions may apply if the student or applicant's immediate family member is employed by PNC Bank, NA. Only the first 1,000 applicants received will be acknowledged and considered.
