Scholarship Overview
This grant is for Louisiana residents. To qualify, applicants must file a FAFSA, receive a federal Pell grant or a federal need grant, and have remaining financial need after deducting the Expected Family Contribution and grant awards from their cost of attendance. Applicants must be enrolled in an eligible Louisiana institution on a part-time, half-time, or full-time basis who 1) entered college as first-time freshmen during academic year 2007-2008 or later; or 2) entered college as full-time freshmen during the 2007-2008 academic year or later and have become eligible for a federal Pell grant or financial need grant after their freshman year; or 3) be age 25 or older; or 4) were first-time freshmen beginning with the 2007-2008 academic year or later who was not initially Pell eligible, but subsequently became Pell eligible.
