Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for juniors at Housatonic Valley Regional High School in Falls Village, Connecticut. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have been enrolled at Housatonic Valley Regional High School for two years prior to application. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must demonstrate the following: academic achievement with a history of rigorous course selection and completion; evidence of ambition/motivation to secure a bright future; and financial need. The recipient of this scholarship will receive $5,000 for a national or overseas summer community service program the summer after their junior year of high school. Participation in this part of the program is required. Applicants will also receive up to $25,000 per year for four years of undergraduate study at any college in the United States.
