Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for graduating seniors at R.J. Reynolds High School in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be nominated by a teacher, coach, or parent and must demonstrate the following: involvement in R.J. Reynolds athletics; outstanding leadership, school service, and community involvement; good moral conduct; sensitivity to others; a kind-hearted nature; a passion for success; and an "I won't let you down" attitude. Applicants must have a 2.0 GPA and should not be receiving a full athletic scholarship. Applicants who have played football will receive priority. Financial need will be considered in awarding this scholarship; the recipient must enroll full-time in an accredited postsecondary educational institution.
