Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for minority students who show excellence in scholarship and potential for accomplishment in health sciences librarianship. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be members of a minority group defined as Black of African-American, Hispanic or Latino, Asian, Aboriginal, North American Indian or Alaskan Native, or Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander. Applicants must be entering a Masters program at an ALA-accredited graduate library school or at the time of granting the scholarship, have completed no more than one-half of the academic requirements of the graduate program. Citizenship or permanent resident status in the United States or Canada is required for this scholarship.
