This scholarship is for outstanding high school seniors graduating from Houston-area public school districts in Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Montgomery, and Waller Counties. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be US citizens and Texas residents, and plan to attend a Texas college or university. Applicants must rank in the top quarter of their graduating class, and score at least a 1350 on the SAT or at least a 19 on the ACT.
