Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for African Americans, Asians, Native Hawaiians, Pacific Islanders, American Indians, Alaska Natives, and Hispanics. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be enrolled in the final academic year of an accredited or developing professional physical therapist assistant education program. (There is a separate scholarship for physical therapy students.) Applicants must complete all degree requirements (clinical and didactic) and be eligible to graduate in 2013. Applicants must show evidence of contributions in the areas of minority affairs and services and high scholastic achievement. They also must possess potential for excellence as a physical therapist assistant.
