Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for residents of Fairfield, Perry, Pickaway, Hocking, Licking, Athens, or Muskingum County, Ohio. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be past participants (racers) of the Lancaster Soap Box Derby, past derby queens, or have had a family that either volunteered or served on the board of directors of the Lancaster Soap Box Derby. Applicants must be between the ages of 17 and 21 and demonstrate an interest in community service and volunteerism. Preference will be given to those who meet this criteria or a student seeking a degree in substance abuse education.
