Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for children of current employees of Murray Supply Company in North Carolina. Children may be natural born, adopted, stepchildren, or others for whom employees are legal guardians. In the event of retirement or death, the employee’s child may qualify to receive the award. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be attending an accredited post-secondary educational institution, including colleges, universities, technical or community colleges, regardless of geographic location; demonstrate academic success by achieving a minimum unweighted cumulative 3.0 GPA with strong course selection; demonstrate character and purpose as evidenced in school, community, church, and work activities; demonstrate financial need, but not restricted to lower incomes; and be 23 years of age or younger at the time of application.
