This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors who are residents of the town of Stockbridge, Massachusetts (including Glendale, Massachusetts, and Interlaken, New York). To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be entering their first year at a two- or four-year accredited college or university to pursue a technical, associate's, or bachelor's degree. Students with a first- or second-place class ranking are not eligible to apply. Applications will be reviewed according to the following criteria: financial need; student's motivation to succeed in pursuing a college degree or certificate; participation in extracurricular activities, such as 4-H, Grange, Girl Guides, church groups, or other community volunteer organizations; and participation in school activities such as sports, school newspaper, class office, or vocational/technical organizations.
