Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for undergraduate and graduate students who are majoring in a journalism- or communications-related discipline. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be current NABJ members, have a 2.5 GPA or higher, and demonstrate a record of community service. Applicants must be enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university in the United States. To apply, applicants must write an essay of 1,000 to 2,000 words on the following essay topic: "How do you see yourself, as a journalist, influencing how news will be gathered and disseminated? What would you improve about the media business?"
