Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for African American college sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are interested in the hospitality industry. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be residents of the District of Columbia or one of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, or West Virginia. Applicants must have a minimum 2.8 GPA and be majoring in accounting, business, hotel management, marketing, restaurant management, or hospitality management. Dependents of either McDonald's executives or NBMOA owners are ineligible for this opportunity.
