Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for seniors from Utah high schools who have accelerated their education by earning an associate's degree in high school. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must earn an associate's degree (or complete the math and science curriculum) with a college GPA of 3.0 from an approved Utah public college or university by the date of their high school graduation. Or, if they graduated from high school early, by the time their class would have graduated. Applicants may earn their associate's degree from Dixie State College, Salt Lake Community College, Snow College, Southern Utah University, University of Utah (Equivalent Certification), Utah State University, Utah State University Eastern, Utah Valley University, or Weber State University. All applicants must earn a minimum 3.5 high school GPA. Home schooled students and those earning their high school diploma from an online school are required to have an ACT composite score of 26. Applicants must enroll full-time (12 or more credits) in a bachelor's degree program at a four-year institution the fall semester following their high school graduation at one of the following Utah institutions of higher education: Brigham Young University (Provo), Dixie State College, Southern Utah University, University of Utah, Utah State University, Utah Valley University, Weber State University, or Westminster College.
