This scholarship is for New Jersey residents who are registered in a mortuary science program; applicants continuing or beginning their mortuary school studies during the fall 2013 semester are eligible. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must intend to become a New Jersey licensed funeral director and be currently registered as an intern. Applicants must have maintained at least a 3.0 GPA in college/university programs. Scholarships are awarded based primarily on academic performance and a strong commitment to funeral service rather than financial need.
