Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for residents of New Jersey who have been residents for at least 12 consecutive months prior to enrollment. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have graduated in the top 15 percent of their high school class, completed a rigorous course of study, and achieved the required score on a college placement test to determine college readiness may be eligible. Applicants must enroll full-time in a degree program at their home county college (exceptions apply) and take a minimum of 12 college-level credits per semester. Applicants must apply for all forms of state and federal need-based grants and merit scholarships. Applicants also must be US citizens or eligible non-citizens. Applicants must file the FAFSA by October 1 for fall and spring terms, and March 1 for spring term only; deadlines for submitting additional information are November 15 for fall 2013 and March 15 for spring 2014.
