Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for women who are high school seniors, college undergraduates, and graduate students pursuing a career in communication. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be permanent residents of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, or Pennsylvania. Non-residents are eligible only if they are currently enrolled in a school within the five boroughs of New York City. Applicants should be majoring in, have declared a major in, or be pursuing an advanced degree in a communications-related field, including but not limited to, advertising, broadcasting, communications, English, film, journalism, marketing, digital media, or public relations at an accredited college/university in the United States. Applicants must have an overall 3.2 GPA or higher. Graduate students and previous scholarship winners must be NYWICI members.
