This scholarship is for students of Asian and/or Pacific Islander ethnicity who are American citizens or permanent residents of the following counties in Chicagoland area: Cook, Dekalb, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kendall, McHenry, Will, Lake (IL), or Kenosha (WI). To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have participated in the OCA Chicago internship program. Applicants must be high school students entering their first year of college in upcoming fall semester or currently enrolled in an accredited university. Applicants must also demonstrate the following: financial need; a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above; and a strong history and intent of community service. Applicants must join OCA-Chicago as a student member before receiving the scholarship and must be available to attend the 2013 OCA-Chicago annual scholarship gala.
