Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors in Stanislaus County, California. To qualify for this scholarships, applicants must be actively involved in rodeo and/or production agriculture of cattle or horses. Applicants must plan to attend a two- or four-year college or university. One of these scholarships will go to a graduating senior whose family is a member of the Oakdale Cowboy Museum. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must write an essay about how their western heritage has helped shape them and how they see themselves involved in competition, production, and/or care of livestock in the future. This is a merit scholarship and is not based on financial need.
