This scholarship is for women who are members of PEO (Philanthropic Educational Organization) in the United States and Canada. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants' education must have been interrupted and they must intend to return to school to support themselves and/or their families. Applicants must be sponsored by a PEO chapter, demonstrate financial need, and be citizens of the United States or Canada. Applicants must have had at least 24 consecutive months as a non-student, be within 24 consecutive months of completing their educational goal, and be enrolled in an educational program leading to employment or job advancement. Applicants enrolled in a doctoral level degree program are not eligible.
