Palmetto Fellows Scholarship

Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for high school seniors who are legal residents of South Carolina and are enrolled in an approved South Carolina public or private high school, an approved South Carolina homeschool program of study, or a preparatory high school located outside of the state while a dependent of a legal resident of South Carolina. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be seriously considering attending, have applied to, or have been accepted for admission to an eligible four-year institution in South Carolina. Applicants must certify that they have never been convicted of any felonies and have not been convicted of any second or subsequent alcohol or other drug-related misdemeanor offenses within the past academic year and cannot be recipients of the LIFE Scholarship, SC HOPE Scholarship, or Lottery Tuition Assistance in the same year. Applicants must score at least 1200 on the SAT (1800 three-score equivalent or 27 on the ACT), earn a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA, and rank in the top six percent of the class; or they must score at least 1400 on the SAT (2100 three-score equivalent or 32 on the ACT) and earn a minimum 4.0 cumulative GPA.
