Paul M. Wiles Scholarship

Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for graduating seniors from an accredited high school or accredited home school whose parent(s) are full-time, vested employees (currently employed for at least one year in a full-time status) of Novant Health Inc. or its affiliates, located in Winston Salem, North Carolina. A qualifying child is defined as eligible to be covered under the employed parent’s health insurance benefit plan. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0 for four-year college or university admissions and 2.75 for vocational/technical school or community college and a transcript reflecting successful completion of advanced science or allied health courses; demonstrate financial need, but not restricted to lower incomes (merit will be considered to a greater degree); and intend to pursue an undergraduate degree in a clinical medical field (e.g., nursing, biology, chemistry, occupational therapy, physical therapy, clinical psychology, clinical laboratory, microbiology, nutrition, etc).
