Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for students of Hispanic descent from Racine County, Wisconsin. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be in ther final year of high school, attend a postsecondary institution on a full-time basis beginning the ensuing fall semester, and be US citizens or legal permanent residents. Two awards are available: The athletic scholarship is based on athletic achievement and participation in interscholastic sports competition. Applicants should demonstrate exceptional athletic ability, team leadership and/or good sportsmanship in their sports involvement. The academic/community scholarship is based on academic achievement and/or extracurricular or community involvement. Applicants should demonstrate exceptional academic ability and/or participation in school activities and community functions.
