This scholarship is for graduates of a public or private high school within the boundaries of Rockford School District 205 in Illinois. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have declared a major of police science or a similar field. Applicants must be going into their second, third, or fourth year at a college or university next year. Currently sworn police officers, committee members, and the immediate family members of committee members are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
