Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for high school seniors and current college students in Muskingum County, Ohio. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must complete a preliminary application, due June 1. They must then sell a horticultural/agricultural product that they raised at least five times at the Zanesville Farmer's Market, participate in a mentoring program, keep a weekly journal documenting the experience, and submit a portfolio. Although the scholarship is intended for high school seniors and college students, students can participate in the market as early as their freshman year of high school; scholarship applicants with more years of market participation will be judged more favorably on their portfolio.
