Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for high school seniors in Regions banking areas who will attend an accredited college or university in the fall of 2012. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be US legal residents of one of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. Applicants must be 13 years of age or older, have a minimum 2.0 GPA, and be enrolled in 12th grade in a public or private school (or home school). To apply for this scholarship, applicants must write a 500-word essay about an African American, past or present, who has inspired them.
