Whoa now, speedy. This scholarship has other requirements that you may not qualify for. Make sure to read them in the Requirements section before you apply.
This scholarship is for students in Maine who resided for a substantial part of their formative years (K-8) on an off-shore island of Maine in the area from Seguin to Easport. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have graduated from a nonsectarian high school and be attending an accredited, degree-granting college or vocational training school. Although there is a preference for residents of off-shore islands, eligible residents of bridged islands of Maine are also invited to apply. Selection will be based on financial need and applicants' ongoing, demonstrated commitment to community service.
