Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for residents of Maine who are accepted at or enrolled in any two- or four-year degree-granting college or university that is accredited by the Association of Schools and Colleges, both in-state or out-of-state. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have successfully completed at least one year of study (in case of a two-year program) or two years (in case of a four- or five-year program) at an institute of higher education and show a strong desire to complete their degree program. Awards will be made on the basis of academic excellence demonstrated by the content of the applicant's transcript and GPA; contributions to community and employment; and financial need consideration.
